At
the same time Rolls-Royce was working on the Eagle,
work was begun on an in-line 6 (the Hawk) and a scaled down Eagle,
the Falcon. All three engine prototypes appeared in the
winter of 1915-16.
After the war, development continued on the Eagle
but not its smaller brothers. |
