PA-22 Tri-Pacer

In
1951 Piper introduced the PA-22 Tri-Pacer, basically a PA-20
Pacer with tricycle landing gear. The aircraft proved very
popular with versions including one with a more powerful engine, a
no-frills version named the Caribbean and a two-seat version
named the Colt. Over 7,700 were built. |
