Mil Mi-17 (Hip)

The Mi-17 is an improved Mi-8 with more powerful powerplants and the tail rotor moved to the left side.  NATO first identified the type in 1980 and it retains the NATO codename "Hip" given to the Mi-8.

The Mi-17 is still in production by Kazan Helicopters.
