The Aircraft

The prototype 2-T-1 was first flown in March 1929.  Flight tests revealed the aircraft was tail heavy and the upper wing was swept back to overcome this problem.

This aircraft was ordered in large numbers;

however, the financial crash in late 1929 led to many cancellations.  Around 250 were built.

Another short production run was begun in 1973 using the Lycoming O-320.
