            years, the Mooney Airplane Company has been a leading
            designer and manufacturer of high-performance, single-engine, cabin
            aircraft.  Mooney has delivered over 10,000 aircraft of which
            over 8,000 are still flying.
            History
            1946: Al and Art Mooney found the Mooney
            Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas.
            1953: The company moves to Kerrville,
            Texas.
            1967: Company acquires rights to Ercoupe
            from Alon.  Renames the aircraft "Cadet".
            2001: Mooney files bankruptcy.
            2002: Acquired by AASI as Mooney
            Airplane Company, a division of Mooney Aerospace Group.
