Siemens-Schuckert
Werke, part of the Siemens electrical group, produced airships,
aircraft and engines through World War I. After the war, the
firm focused on aircraft engines.
In 1936, the factory at Spandau was reorganized as
Brandenburgische Motorenwerke GmbH and known as Bramo.
The German Air Ministry merged Bramo into BMW
in 1939. |
