popular rotary piston engine from World War I, Le Rhône 9J
was one of a trio of 9 cylinder engines developed by Le Rhône--the
80 hp, the 110 hp and the 130 hp. Le Rhône engines typically
had lower fuel and oil consumption than similar engines designed by
its parent company Gnome. |
