In
1991, testing began on the Allison AE 3007 (GMA for General
Motors Allison). This engine combines the high-pressure spool
of the AE2100 with a new fan and low-pressure turbine. First
flown in 1996, different models produce between 7,000 and 8,290 lbs
thrust. |
