Allison T56/Model 501-D
The Engine Specifications
 
Based on the T38, the T56 was designed for the C-130 Hercules.  First ordered in 1954, the T56 is still in production by Rolls-Royce.

Nearly 17,000 T56s and its commercial version, the 501-D, have been produced.
