Cessna 310

The prototype civilian Cessna 310 first flew in 1954.  In 1957, the U.S. Air Force selected the aircraft for light administrative liaison and utility duties, designating it the L-27.  In 1962, the aircraft was re-designated the U-3.

Popularly known as the "Blue Canoe", the U-3 was used by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army.
